“Nate has demonstrated exceptional leadership as a valued member of Tappan Zee Constructor’s safety team during construction of a 3.1-mile twin span cable stayed bridge over the Hudson River. Some of Nate's contributions:
- Utilize design and planning methods to include modular bridge erection to minimize fall exposures.
- Providing safety training for over 2,000 employees.
- Safety oversight for erection of over 111,000 tons of steel girders without a recordable injury.
- Safety oversight for placement of over 113,000 tons of precast concrete deck panels without a recordable injury.”
