“Tom led a team of 18 employees in the development/implementation of our new global fall protection standard. He organized and launched a competent person training program that resulted in the qualification by 3M of eight internal trainers, purchase of necessary equipment and the scheduling/delivery of courses. Within six months, over 100 people were trained, near-miss reporting related to fall protection increased, and deficiencies in the use of fall protection equipment were identified and corrected.”
