Air Combat Command, Directorate of Safety, U.S. Air Force
Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA
“Tech. Sgt. Biagi Borrero developed Air Combat Command’s 2016 Fall Protection Campaign supporting [OSHA’s] initiative. She established a detailed process to expand the focus from simple construction safety to strategies designed to prevent falls from any area/height. Furthermore, she led 128 full-time safety professionals to create promotional flyers/videos aimed at mishap awareness. Additionally, a fall protection game modeled after the 'Jeopardy!' quiz show was distributed to five regional commands with 34 bases at 70 worldwide locations and 138,000 personnel.”
