“Ali designed a Whole Body Vibration and Dust Management Program and started monthly monitoring audits using Vibrato dosimeters and dust monitors. Audit outcomes were translated into action items, which resulted in improved vehicle suspension maintenance quality. It also strengthened the dust management practices at our coal crushing plant and mine. As a result, 34% fewer drivers have reported chronic health issues pertaining to body vibration. Traffic safety incidents due to poor visibility caused by excessive dust have decreased. Moreover, through automation of the coal handling system, direct exposure of coal dust to workers has lessened.”
