“Mr. Tallman manages the base safety briefing and training that reaches more than 28,000 personnel. The safety brief changes each month depending on the time of year, associated hazards of the area and any trends that are in focus. Due to the location of Kadena Air Base, water activity is very popular. Mr. Tallman co-coordinated an Ocean Safety Expo for more than 400 members and their families. The Ocean Expo taught an abundance of activities, including proper use of personal protective equipment, how to react in a rip current and how to evaluate sea conditions.”
