“Jordan created a heat stress monitor project. During the summer, the HSE team would walk around filling up, checking and recording the monitor readings to send out emails when heat breaks were occurring. Now, the system is always running and each department has its own monitor. When we hit a heat break for five minutes, the system notifies the department contacts via email. When we come off breaks, it emails the same group to let them know the breaks are completed. The system can be viewed by all of HSE and operations online.”
