Jose Perez
Age 38
Corporate EHS Manager, Learning and Development
The Wonderful Company LLC
Delano, CA
“Jose Perez developed and implemented a comprehensive safety onboarding process for temporary employees that included site-specific safety training along with thorough job safety analysis at the worksites where employees would be placed. Over the course of 3 years of this initiative, the company experienced a decrease of their total recordable incident rate and a saving of over $2 million dollars in workers’ compensation rates. Another side benefit from the implementation of this initiative: the company saw an increase on employee retention by decreasing their turn-over rate. It was a win-win for the employees and the company.”
