2016 Rising Stars of Safety: Taking safety to a new level
The National Safety Council presents the Rising Stars of Safety, Class of 2016
Bailley McDonald
Age 28
Safety and Health Specialist
Broward County, FL
Fort Lauderdale, FL
“Bailley engages her peers through leading the ‘What I Live For’ campaign and succeeded in achieving the involvement of employees who enthusiastically shared personal pictures describing ‘what they live for,’ serving as a reminder that working safely allows them to enjoy important things in their lives. The entire division participated in a group photo declaring ‘We Live For You,’ driving home the importance of safety to our team. It was so effective, the photo was used in marketing our insurance programs to our underwriting partners and by our agent/broker to emphasize its partnership with us. Bailley used the campaign to brand safety as an integral part of our culture.”
