Paul Ferrara

Age: 37
EHS Leader
Owens Corning
Ocala, FL

“Paul recognized the serious risk due to the absence of a lockout/tagout program. He immediately put a control in place through the use of a LOTO special permit. In the meantime, he rapidly and in a high-quality way implemented our internal LOTO program. He leveraged the internal maintenance persons and other safety leaders within the organization to get this important program implemented, active and effective. The measure of this is that all 19 lines and subsequent process and ancillary equipment have the matrix, and all training is completed.”
