Safety is a need as old as time, but to successfully address it in modern times demands modern thinking and innovative execution. Those qualities are easy to find in the National Safety Council Rising Stars, Class of 2016.
These professionals are the safety leaders who will propel our industry upward and our thinking forward. They come from a variety of backgrounds, but they are all committed to preventing deaths and injuries.
In evaluating dozens of nominees for the Class of 2016, we were pleased to find that so many young safety professionals are having a positive effect on their colleagues and their organizations.
The 2016 NSC Rising Stars of Safety are taking their performance to a new level by bringing energy, enthusiasm and excellence to their workplaces.
As we pursue the National Safety Council’s goal of ending preventable deaths in our lifetime, these Rising Stars will play a key role, driving advancements and helping people be safer every day.
Sincerely,
Deborah A. P. Hersman
President and CEO, National Safety Council
